Description:

Linen

The Linen department supplies staff, departments and patient care areas with an adequate supply of linen, patient wearing apparel, and staffing uniforms. Hospital linens are also repaired and patched when necessary and inventory levels are maintained for all service areas. Special requests are also filled, i.e. curtains, strapping etc.

Laundry

The Laundry department ensures that the processing and delivery of clean linen meets the daily requirements of clients, service departments and programs, in a timely manner and in sanitary condition.

Housekeeping

The primary function of the Housekeeping department is to provide a healthy, safe and sanitary environment for the users of the facility whether they are patients, visitors or staff. A daily waste management program is also maintained.
