Contact:Debbie MacDonald Description:The role of the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Volunteer Services Program is to coordinate volunteer activities in the hospital, thereby enhancing the services of hospital personnel in the provision of high quality health care to our patients. The functions of this service are to plan and implement volunteer activities in patient care and non patient care programs and services - to plan, recruit, select, orient, train, supervise, evaluate and recognize volunteers; to liaise with the Hospital Auxiliary, and to network within the Hospital and the community.
