Description:

The Medical Social worker provides support to patients in the area of psychosocial difficulties.  A valued member of the healthcare team, the Social Worker sees patients through referral from physicians or the multidisciplinary team.  The Social Worker also provides support to families who are dealing with the crisis of an ill loved one.  Staff can access assistance from Social Work through a confidential EAP program.
