Food Services is responsible for the planning, purchasing, production and distribution of safe, quality food that meet the nutritional and social needs of the patients (acute and chronic), staff, visitors, Meals On Wheels, Hostel and Morning Star clients. Staff, visitor and Hostel service is through the Cafeteria and Catering Services. Service to the Morningstar center has been provided since April 1998 and varies to meet changing needs of recovery programs.
Nutrition Services by Registered Dietitians provides individualized clinical nutritional care to inpatients and some outpatients with physician referrals. This includes assessment, monitoring, patient and family counseling and consultation with other Health Care Professionals.
