The Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic and Medically Enhanced Coordinated Care for Addictions Program (MECCA) Program supports individuals in developing and working toward their unique recovery goals—whether that means reducing the risks and harms associated with substance use, making changes to their use patterns, or achieving abstinence from one or more substances.
While support is primarily provided to clients experiencing opioid use disorder (OUD) and offer treatments such as Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT), we also provide care for individuals dealing with stimulant use disorder (StUD), alcohol use disorder (AUD), and cannabis use disorder (CUD).
The approach is person-centered, flexible, and rooted in harm reduction and evidence-based care.
Services available through RAAM include:
- Addiction medicine and treatment options
- Harm reduction services
- HIV and Hepatitis C testing, treatment, and HIV prevention support (PrEP)
- Sexually Transmitted Infection testing and treatment
- Health education and prevention services
- Referrals and connections to community supports
- Ongoing care for people with complex health and social needs
